Bay State Forestry Service will identify and re-establish property boundary lines. This service includes identifying the lines between property corners, removal of brush and small trees from the line. As well as blazing and/or painting of the boundary. This service helps in conducting other management activities and can protect your property from trespass issues.

Blazing: indicating forest boundaries by physically making a notch into the bark of the boundary trees. This is not a process that will harm the overall health of the tree. This job may also require the use of an industry tool known as a bark scribe. Additionally state current land use programs require, boundaries be blazed & painted.

Note: for forest management practices only, no survey plans produced.
